Tuesday evenings 6 – 9pm: 18th Oct, 1st, 15th & 29th Nov, 13th Dec 2011 9am to 12am with 1 hour lunch break.

After much pressure from past participants, Just Joints classes are ready to resume. This time, ESCA will run two, five session classes, one on alternate Tuesdays and the other on alternate Saturdays. Tuesday night classes will continue with previous students with more advanced joints, while Saturday classes will be for Just Joints beginners.

Join Neil to explore and practice handmade joints of every description. These classes are for those wishing to improve and perfect their hand skills, and to get a better understanding of appropriate joinery, and joint design. These sessions will be thoroughly relaxing, ‘unplugged’ and quiet – so, come and unwind and relax. Participants are encouraged to bring along their own cutting tools, however, ESCA does have a full kit in each bench for those who need them. Email to secure your place.

2. Bevelled dovetail joints
3. Angled mortise and tenon joint
4. Tapered sliding dovetail joint
5. Mitred bridle joint
